I'm great with beginners, because the dance didn't come easily to me, and I know how hard it can seem at first. I'm a working professional dancer, and can help an intermediate dancer work to bring her dance to the next level. This class is an ongoing drill of the basics, with a choreography embedded, great for beginners, for experienced dancers who want to drill, or who are just starting with me. There are plenty of veils and hip scarves here to borrow or purchase, or bring your own. Wear comfortable clothing, yoga pants are perfect. I do want to be able to see your posture. $48 for 4 weeks. (no class Labor Day) Paypal is at the bottom of this page, Send a check to Nina Amaya 1020 Regester Ave. Baltimore MD 21239 or bring a check or cash the first day of class. Pre-registration makes it easier to plan a good class, and guarantees you a spot. Please park on Sharon Rd., as the driveway will fill with cars for the class after yours and block you in. Once you have learned some of our choreographies through the basics classes, or through workshops, you might join us in troupe! We have a lot of fun and perform a lot. You can see us on YouTube by searching for :"Artscape Belly Dance". Troupe dues are $45/ month and cover classes, practices, performances and access to some costumes and props, such as swords. Troupe members do need to buy and make some personal costumes to match the troupe.
