Level 2 and above class will focus on group and individual improvisation using the moves learned in Level 1. We will further explore ways of transitioning between moves and formations, while building on intermediate and advanced techniques.

My classes are fun and for mixed levels of ability. I'm great with beginners, because the dance didn't come easily to me, and I know how hard it can seem at first. I'm a working professional dancer, and can help an intermediate dancer work to bring her dance to the next level. This class is an ongoing drill of the basics, with a choreography embedded, great for beginners, for experienced dancers who want to drill, who are just starting with me, or who want to pick up a choreography. There are plenty of veils and hip scarves here to borrow or purchase, or bring your own. Wear comfortable clothing, yoga pants are perfect. I do want to be able to see your posture. $48 for 4 weeks. Pre-registration makes it easier to plan a good class, and guarantees you a spot. Once you have learned some of our choreographies through the basics classes, or through workshops, you might join us in troupe! We have a lot of fun and perform a lot. Troupe members do need to buy and make some personal costumes to match the troupe.

We close the show from 7-8. Friday's costume, for those performing with us, is white, with colored silk veils. Saturday's is just a suggestion: blues greens and purples. Sunday we will be in the rainbow of colors. Live music, live dance, wooo! Audience participation songs, so come on out, even if you haven't learned the choreographed songs.
