Tarik Sultan will be presenting a workshop Saturday from 11-2:30 on Egyptian Shaabi (Cairo Street dancing)- With witty lyrics, playful moves ang cultural gestures, Tarik will teach a fun choreography that will have you dancing like you grew up in Cairo! Tarik, former partner & protégé of Dance icon Morocco has traveled extensively in Egypt, has extensive knowledge as a scholar of Raks Sharki and is in demand worldwide. Tarik will breakdown the technique, explain all the nuances in the choreography and also translate the lyrics of the song! Do not miss this chance to study with one of the best!
