Bahiya fell in love with the artistry of Middle Eastern dance and loves to share that joy and excitement with her audience. Bahiya performs as a solo artist and member of the dance company, Tears of Aset, directed by Sitamun. She has performed at the following venues: In the Streets, the Annual Festival of the Arts, Frederick Maryland's First Saturday, the Cultural Festival in Frederick, Maryland, as well as numerous private parties. Bahiya mesmerizes audiences with balancing specialty dances such as sword, shamadan, and tray and candles. She also performs Raks Asaya (cane dance) and Turkish spoons. Bahiya has devoted time to the continued study of Oriental and Egyptian Folk dances. She completed Sahra Kent's Journey to Egypt 1 and 2, and Cairo Style 1. Bahiya has taken workshops from many other master teachers.
