I welcome your help in making the community's hafla a vibrant and helpful addition to the Baltimore belly dance scene. Bring a camera and please please please email me pictures of shows as they happen- that would be great! ninadances@gmail.com is my new address.
1. Doors will open at 3:30 for performers and 3:45pm for everyone else. Sorry, but if you arrive earlier, you cannot be seated. The buffet will begin at 4 and the show when everyone is seated again. There will be an intermission.
2. The hafla costs $20. You must pay the full $20 even if you are best friends with a dancer, or unless I tell you otherwise. Children 3-7 are half price, under 3 is free.
3.Bringing cash will get you in faster- please do!
4.Children need to be watched. If you bring yours and you are dancing, make sure someone else is in charge while you can’t watch.
5.Cafe Spice does not have a changing room. The owners are sensitive about dress. Please come fully costumed or change in the Cafe Spice bathroom. Please don’t disrobe anywhere else in the resturaunt.
6 We have rearranged seating for better visibility. The dancers will now be dancing in the middle, with seating on 3 sides.
7. If you are not one of the performers for the evening, refrain from coming in a full costume. It is a very nice restaurant- you can dress up if you want, but not as a performing belly dancer!
8. You are welcome to bring flyers about upcoming shows or classes you are offering. There isn't really room for vending, though.
